Wondering why we’re called ‘Mezzanine’? For anyone who knows the financing world, the concept of mezzanine debt (a structure between debt and equity) is familiar, but ‘mezzanine’ isn’t something they think of when it comes to revenues.
We wanted to take that concept of a hybrid structure and apply it to growing a company’s sales. Mezzanine builds an organization’s revenue generation capabilities (demand and lead generation) for the short and long-term. We are a hybrid solution between an in-house team and an outside expert. We’re a solution that fits for business leaders looking to achieve results and build their company’s revenue generation capabilities for the long-term, while getting immediate results.
As it happens, the name ‘Mezzanine’ also came up at the time the company was being founded. Lisa was attending an event and standing on the mezzanine level, looking out at the main stage of the venue and realizing that the mezzanine is the best place to be when you want to see what’s going on. It’s far enough away to get an objective and complete view, but close enough to still see the details. Simply put, the best seats in the house are on the mezzanine level.
